SEVEN
SAINT
For the first time ever, I want to kill someone. Murder. Destruction. Mayhem. The entire nine yards, all so I can keep her safe. Hayley. No other name would fit my sweet girl.
Sheâs not mine, but fuck if sheâs that assholeâs. Her stepbrother acts like he wants to be a whole lot more than siblings by marriage.
She protected me for a third time. When she could have admitted the monster beside her bed, she didnât. She hid me because she wants me here. The fact comes with a strange sensation in my chest.
When she got out of the bed and went to him, I very carefully peeked over the mattress, watching and gritting my teeth as he played with her curls. Curls that I also shouldnât be allowed to touch, but he definitely shouldnât be.
I almost gave her dirty little secret up right then and there, if only for the pleasure of being able to see his expression.
He dropped numerous suggestive comments that had me ready to stab the smirk off his face, and then to cut off his hands for touching her, but I waited until he left, biding my time until she was all mine again.
When the door shuts behind him, I stand, glaring at the spot he was last standing. âHas he ever touched you before?â
Say yes. Give me a fucking reason to end his life.
Hayley approaches, unwisely nearing the man barely clinging to his sanity. She reaches for me with a shake of her head. âHe enjoys making comments like that. Thinks theyâre amusing.â
Comments. Comments are still deserving of pain.
She touches my arm, snapping me from my daze, and I lunge for her, snatching her curls in my grip and ripping her head back with a surprised gasp. My other palm pulls her closer, keeping her against me as I walk her backwards to the bed, kissing her as angry as the past five minutes have made me.
She gasps when I shove her on the bed, ripping those shorts off her again. Itâs a goddamn shame the interruption forced her to cover up, and I vow not to leave until her bed is soaked by her.
I stroke her pussy with two fingers before shoving them inside her, ecstatic when her back arches, her mouth opens in an O.
âSaint,â she gasps, âfuck meâplease.â
âI am.â To emphasize my words, I hammer into her harder, no longer in gentle, teasing touches. Her stepbrotherâs presence royally pissed me off and I have to ensure my scent is imprinted all over her, as a warning to him, before I leave.
âNoââ She reaches for me, her denial ending on a breathy moan. âThatâs notâ¦what I meant. And youâknow it.â
âYeah, but if I do, if I allowed myself to feel you around my cock, Iâll never leave. And thatâs not good for you.â
Just saying it aloud is a reminder of the reasons I should be running away. I got her name; I got valuables; my entire job in her house has to end.
